A lot of users have been trying to abuse the categories lately, therefore we have had to take action to stop the category spam.. Not only does this degrade the system, but it also send irrelevant articles to webmasters and they end up removing their sites from the system. So we have added to new measures
1) We have removed the ALL category from the add article section so you can no longer add an article to ALL categories, as a lot of users were just clicking ALL even though their article was not written for ALL subjects.
2) We have put a limit on the number of categories you can choose
Please note as mentioned in past posts we take spam very seriously. Anyone caught submitting the same article into the system multiple times WILL have their account terminated!

Hi Anthony.. Eric actually had some concerns, which were rectified in the ticket system and if you see his last response it was of a positive nature. The discussion on LVR were simply people not knowing how to use the system effectively, we do not treat customers bad. We just expect customers to at least contact us first before posting anything publicly, as most issues are resolvable, we have both a ticket system and a telephone number. I have just checked one of your sites and again this could be resolved in a ticket! But I will allow this to remain public, as it will also help future webmasters. Basically you have set your article receive percentage to 100%, as you will know we increased the percentage to 300% for a reason, a lot of the 100% articles were low quality as it does not take a lot of spinning to create 100% written article. This actually works both ways, if article writers only spin their articles 100% then they are going to go on the low quality sites as webmasters with the decent sites set their sites to at least 250% spun, every site we personally add to the system only accepts articles spun at least 250%, so we receive the higher quality end of articles. It works the same way for a site you add into the system the higher you set the rate the higher the quality of articles will be. We also have a tag system you are not taking advantage of. From an article point of view, if you create a well written, spun 250%+ article then you are going to get a lot of publishes on high PR sites, if you only spin the article 50% then you are likely to have a lot rejected and the ones that do get accepted will only be on sites that are PR0 or PR1/2

your response to Eric Is terrible! He's stated his case well, and you're lashing out at him for his honest opinion? The more I read reviews about this service (both on here and on likevana reviews) and your responses , the less impressed I get. We are Paying YOU for a service... And you're treating us like We owe you something!Get your attitude straight! This is no way to treat customers. So far, out of 30 or so articles, 27 have been absolute crap! If this is the quality of your network, I'm not interested in contributing my articles! I really feel like I've wasted $39 for the monthly membership.

We recommend you only accept a few a day . Yes 100 is too much per day. If you leave it blank you will get unlimited, but we do also have an internal limit, but its best you put your own limit in place

Speaking of category spam, (though this may be a little off-topic), I have a PR4 domain which I decided to use for Article Ranks. Now I was accepting unlimited articles everyday until earlier today, expecting that I'd hardly have any article requests. However on my first day I've already had 30 or so articles published to my site. This is because I have set it so that articles from all categories are accepted. If I go back to accepting an unlimited number of articles from all categories, I'd probably have around 100 articles posted on my site EVERYDAY (That's judging by 30 in my first 6 hours.)My questions is, is this some sort of abuse of the system? I've reduced the amount to 7 articles a day, will setting it back to unlimited be ok with the system?Reason I ask is if you do the math, I'd have like 14 credits everyday, so 7 article submissions everyday, which is as good as unlimited membership. Somehow it doesn't feel right. Also, would the Google bots think there's something fishy going on o.O

Hi Vusal This measure is taken to stop category spam, which there was a lot of people trying to abuse in the past. Its not to make money, its to make the system high quality

Hi Derek,Things have got a lot better compared to last year. In the next few days we will be rolling out the two following functions, and beleieve this will combat a lot of the remaining spammers.1) We will make tags free for your site, you can add as many tags as you wish, articles will then have to match your category and tag requirements. The more tags you put the better and making them more general 2) A block user function, this will work as follows- If you are manually checking articles and you notice a lot of low quality ones linking to the same site, you can block the user and never receive their articles again, this will in turn notify us and in turn allow you to then build up a network of trusted users, which in turn will allow you to auto accept in future.

Someone already mentioned this. I hate it when someone writes a article on AR and the links are to a gambling site. Let me get this thread, you write a around about SEO and toss in gambling links? That's not good for our vistitors when they read a SEO article and expect to view a SEO site/service or a link that leads to some sort of SEO site. Those articles i have to reject because it makes no sense.Eventually AR will get things worked out but it starts with removing the spammers who post crap on AR or not put the article in the correct category.

I think that's a very good step. I removed several sites from the system because of category spam. However, you still need to improve the quality of articles.
