We have now implemented a block author function for users that are choosing to manually review articles before they get posted to their sites.

As you know we have always had the reject button and junk button, we have now added a new button called Block Author. If you are noticing that a lot of low quality articles are coming from one author and you no longer wish to receive their articles you can now select that article in question and block the author, so you will never receive their articles again throughout your account, even if you have 20 sites plugged into the system.

This will allow you to only receive content from the users you trust and that are on your own personal whitelist!

A block author function will also notify us, if we see an author is constantly getting blocked by users then we will personally deal with the account in question.... read more »

A lot of users have been trying to abuse the categories lately, therefore we have had to take action to stop the category spam.. Not only does this degrade the system, but it also send irrelevant articles to webmasters and they end up removing their sites from the system. So we have added to new measures

1) We have removed the ALL category from the add article section so you can no longer add an article to ALL categories, as a lot of users were just clicking ALL even though their article was not written for ALL subjects.

2) We have put a limit on the number of categories you can choose

As with every system once popular you get spammers, people who want to get as many links as they can with low quality articles. This may work in other systems, but not ours we take spam very seriously

We are delighted to announce that our new spam control algothirm is now live

So whats new in the algothirm, we have listed some specific key points below

- We now have a white/trust list, the algothirm decides which members go on the whitelist
- If you are not on the whitelist, (everyone must earn their right) your article will ONLY be published on moderated sites for the first 24 hours of it going live
- If after 24 hours the article has not received any flags by site owners, it will start to go onto sites that auto accept content
- If the article receives a flag we will check the article manually, if it receives more then one the article will instantly be blocked
- If you continue to produce high quality articles and they do not get flagged the system will put you onto the whitelist, and your articles will not have to go through the initial 24 hours of being distributed to only moderated sites
- Once on the whitelist if you decide to spam the system will detect and take you straight off of it
- If your articles are constantly being flagged your account will be suspended

Please do NOT contant us asking to add you to the whitelist, as we have created an algothirm which will do this and cannot do it manually anyhow. The only way to get into the whitelist and stay on it is by producing top quality articles all of the time

As many of our members may know we have recently been tweaking our backend to give you the best distributions, attract high quality sites and stop ALL spammers.

But in the end it all comes down to how high quality the sites in the system are.. Now do not get me wrong we have thousands of high quality sites in the system, from users and ourselves.

But we also had a few people putting very LOW quality sites into the system So as of today we have done a major site cleanup and deleted all sites from the database which we believed to be very low quality. We are also delighted to annouce that every month we will now be personally adding 30-80 of our own high PR sites into the network, making the network stronger and stronger every single month
